We are excited to announce that Alpha will be launching at St Peter’s very soon.
If you have never heard of Alpha, here is the short version. It is a free, eight-week series of conversations exploring the big questions of life, faith, and meaning. It is completely open — you do not need to have any faith background, any prior knowledge, or any intention of becoming a churchgoer. It is simply a space to ask questions, share your thoughts, and hear what others think.
Alpha runs in a relaxed, informal setting with food, a short talk, and open discussion. There is no pressure, no commitment, and nothing to sign up to at the end. You just come, see what you think, and take away whatever is useful to you.
Tim has run Alpha courses many times over the years and loves them. “Some of the most honest, searching conversations I have ever had have been around an Alpha table,” he says. “It is one of my favourite things to be part of.”
